After A Full Year Without a Terrorist Death Israeli Rabbi and Teacher Shay Ohayon Killed In Stabbing Attack in Petah Tikvah

A teacher and Rabbi in central Israel, Rabbi Shay Ohayon was laid to rest on August 28, 2020. He was murdered by a Palestinian worker in the central Israeli city Petah Tikvah on August 27. Earlier that day Prime Minister Netanyahu posted on Facebook taking credit for one full year without a death from a terrorist attack, the first time in over 50 years. The terrorist, 46 year old Mohammad Dawikat from Kfar Rujib in the Northern West Bank, was taken into custody by Israeli law enforcement and his family is under investigation.
